It tells the story of a boy calls piscine molitor patel, “pi”, who lives in india. One day, his family decide to move on canada. The parents of the boy have a zoo. They have to move all the animals to canada. When the trip starts, everything is good; it seems nothing can spoil the trip. Two days later, a big wave, during the night, sinks the ship and also the parents of pi, who can’t swim. He gets to safe his life holding to a small boat. When the sun goes up, he realises in the boat lives a tiger called richard parker which also gets to safe his life during the storm. The story tells how two beings so different can live in the same place. The story ends when pi arrives in mexico after six months. Richard parker decides to live there without him.
